JIMMY BUCKLEY, Robert Mizzell, and Patrick Feeney are the Three Amigos, who have an interest in country music and enjoy a positive reaction wherever they go.
Their record sales are among the highest in the country and the word of their talent is spreading far and wide. Next year they tour Australia and New Zealand following their record deal with Sony Australia and in 2013 American and British audiences will also get to see them.
“We all knew each other from touring around Ireland with our dance bands,” says Robert Mizzell. “We would meet in 24 hour service stations as we made our way home from the gigs and it gave us the chance to talk and share stories. Over time we realised we had a great respect for each other. Our musical tastes were similar and if we could find the time a collaboration was on the cards.”
The band have made a number of television appearances this year, performing on The Late Late Show twice, The Miriam O’Callaghan Show, Up for the Match, and Ireland AM.
