OREGON BORN, Galway based singer-songwriter Niceol Blue and her band The Copper Soul release their debut album Rise next week.
The album will be launched with a gig in the Townhouse Bar, Spanish Parade, on Tuesday November 8 at 8pm.
Niceol has been gigging around Galway for a number of years and is one of the most regular and recognisable street singers in the city. The Copper Soul is Eoghan Judge (lead guitar ), Karl Clews (bass ), Pat Fortune (drums ) and Niceol. For the launch gig they will be joined by Jenny O’Brien on keyboards.
Rise features a 1970s American rock feel and features contributions from Cormac Dunne (The Stunning ) and Tom Portman (The Bah Band ).
Admission is free. Rise will be available at the show at a special launch price.
