Trek the famous Camino de Santiago de Compostela with Croí

Local heart and stroke charity Croí are seeking walkers and adventurers to follow in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims and trek the world famous Camino de Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain.

This seven-day trek will take place from June 2 to 9 next year but walkers are asked to sign up as soon as possible as places are limited. Croí’s Karen Maloney (who led the trip this year ) said: “This is a truly unique trip that is open to everyone. The friendships that were formed on the trip and the experience everyone had was absolutely amazing; definitely an unforgettable experience.”

The Croi Camino trek is an all-inclusive trip following in the footsteps of St James, as he made his way to Santiago de Compostela. The trek will take the less travelled Portuguese route which offers real rustic charm and warm hospitality as you pass through the quaint towns and villages.

Announcing details of this trip recently, Croi’s Neil Johnson said: “We are delighted to be able to offer the Camino as part of our events programme. The Camino is a very special, and often a very personal trip for many people. The feedback from this year's group has been phenomenal, so we hope next year's groups will get as much out of it.”
