ON SUNDAY at 8pm Galway Arts Centre will host a freaky fun night of Halloween hi-jinks. The evening will kick off with a psychic ice cream workshop by local artist Mitch Conlon followed by a dunking, drawing, wrapping and catching obstacle course that will see patrons battle it out for a monstrous prize. Galway city arts officer James C Harrold will lead an eerie tour of the building, unveiling the centre’s hidden history, formerly the residence of the legendary Lady Gregory.
Live DJ Annabal Lecter will spin a stellar line-up of spooky tunes with a prize for best dressed and person with the freakiest moves on the dance floor. There will also be a marathon screening of creepy cult animation Salad Fingers along with some salady finger’ food. It’s a bring-your-own-booze-affair and promises to be a great night to get people in a ghoulishly good mood on the eve of All Souls.
Tickets available from the Galway Arts Centre at €5 each or on the door on the night for €7. For more information check http://www.facebook.com/people/Galway-Arts-Centre
