This latest Praise Expression concert will take place on Saturday at the Black Box Theatre. The event is themed ‘Galway G-Jamz’and is in aid of Cancer Care West. The Cancer Care West Inis Aoibhinn’s facilities still require expansion and additional fittings and the group has decided raise awareness of the situation and pledge its funds to the cause.
Praise Expression is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to impact the community around with fundraising, youth development projects and awareness programmes, often through the medium of music. The organisation activities strive to bring hope and inspire people in our community, through music concerts and social events.
Last year’s concert, themed Afro-Irish, was a huge success and the group is hoping for a similar response on Saturday. The line-up includes The Waterbaths (Winners of Boston Got Talent 2010 ), ToluKing (IAMA Winner, Best artist Male 2011 ), FCF Glorious Choir, Elation Ministries, Shaday, and Elizabeth Ebosele (Winner, Dance category at the Royal Talent Show 2011 ).
