Windsor Fleet is opening a new branch in Galway, its second outside Dublin.
The compnay says the new branch has been opened to meet the motoring needs of the corporate sector in the west with €6m in funding available.
Windsor Fleet is one of Ireland’s largest fleet management companies and provides fleet cars and vans of all makes to both large and small businesses, as well as to the public sector.
Windsor Fleet is part of the Windsor Motor Group and the €6m in funding has been allocated to meet the needs of local businesses in Galway and the surrounding counties.
“In the current climate there is a lack of availability of finance,” says head of Windsor Fleet Galway, Michael Butler. “Therefore many companies are moving towards using vehicle fleet suppliers, such as Windsor Fleet, to provide their transport needs and to avoid tying up limited resources in company vehicles.”
Michael Butler says it is a “very positive step for the local corporate businesses in a time where accessing funds is very difficult”.
“This new development will certainly ease the pressures on local businesses which have a need for a fleet, but cannot obtain the funding. We look forward to working with and serving the fleet needs of the local business community.”
Windsor Fleet provides the full range of services, including acquisition, fleet management, disposal, and maintenance. This operation is on Monivea Road.
