Gardai have confirmed that the investigation into an attack on a woman in her Headford home earlier this week is on-going.
It is understood that gardai in Headford are currently reviewing local CCTV and seeking further information to help them track down a man who is suspected of being involved in the incident which occurred at the young woman’s home in Mausrevagh, close to St Cuana’s National School, at round 12.45pm on Monday.
The woman, in her 30s, went to the basement of her home where it is believed a man grabbed her hair and hit her head off the wall before fleeing the scene. The woman is said to be traumatised but not seriously injured as a result
