Global medical device industry giants Boston Scientific will sponsor the next breakfast event of the CIPD Western Region.
The upcoming breakfast event will be held on site in Boston Scientific on Thursday October 27 from 8am to 9.30am.
Boston Scientific will share for the first time with external organisations its human resources “continuous improvement” practices at the event.
The human resources function in Boston Scientific has embraced “lean” methodology to execute its portfolio of projects supporting the business, and project leaders will present examples of the best in class projects from both the Just Do it and Lean Business Project categories.
It is hoped this sharing of best practice will be mutually beneficial to both current practitioners of Lean in other organisations and also those considering using these tools. There will be an opportunity to review the project storyboards and put questions to the SME and Project Leads.
This event will be of interest to all HR practitioners, managers, academics and students. The event is open to all members of the Western Region’s Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in Ireland, and non-members are also welcome.
