Horse breeders meet in Tuam

Tuam will host one of four regional meetings for horse breeders in Ireland.

Organised by Horse Sport Ireland and Teagasc, the meetings will update breeders on developments and also hear their views on breeding matters.

There will be four speakers at each meeting, including Alison Corbally of Horse Sport Ireland, Barry O’Connor of O’Connor/Swail Stables, and Chris Ryan, producer of Irish Eventers.

Horse Sport Ireland chairman Joe Walsh is encouraging all breeders and anyone with an interest in the sport horse sector to attend.

“As well as being informative, the meetings will be an opportunity for breeders and those involved in the sector to air their views or ask questions about breeding policy and other matters,” he says.

The meeting will take place at Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam, Co Galway at 8pm. Entrance is free of charge and all are welcome.
