Baboró to host a street party for children and families

The Baboró International Arts Festival for Children opens this Sunday with Priceless, an outdoor street party for children and families along Quay Street from 2pm to 5pm.

A table covered in paper will run the entire length of Quay Street and Baboró is inviting children and their parents to celebrate the festival’s 15th birthday.

They will also be encouraged to express themselves in a creative and fun way by responding to the question ‘What is priceless to you?’ writing the answer along the table. There will also be music from the Mr Whippy Soundsystem and street games of giant jenga and twister.

Baboró runs from Sunday to October 23 and will be officially opened by Dr Ralph Stehle, director of the Goethe Institut, Dublin.
