Jobseekers are being offered free places on an internet training programme in Galway.
South West Gnó Skillnet, in conjunction with a Galway based firm, is offering nine jobseekers places as part of a training programme based on building a successful business using the internet.
The training programme will take place in GPA Solutions, Terryland, Galway, on Wednesday, October 19 from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The course will run one day a week for 10 weeks and offers an opportunity for the successful jobseeker applicants to create a successful online business.
This introductory programme will outline to participants exactly how to build a successful web-based business without needing external web design or IT support.
This FETAC Level 5 accredited programme uses theory and practices to hand hold students through all the steps from developing a site concept right to making a consistent income on the web. It is designed for people who have basic computer skills.
