It was Ireland's first purpose built clinic — some 10,000sq feet — with the latest medical and nursing facilities in place with unparalleled after care. Ailish Kelly researched the market thoroughly before investing heavily in the facility. Each surgery is bespoke for the client. As patients proceeding with cosmetic surgery enjoy good health, exposing themselves to the risk of infection in general hospitals is not an option, hence one of the main reasons for the success of Cosmedico.
With the growth of cosmetic surgery in Ireland, both surgically and non-surgically, Cosmedico has now begun an expansion programme. Last year it opened its new consulting clinics in Galway and this year has followed in Limerick and Kilkenny. In January Tralee was added, and by the end of 2011 four more counties are in the plan to open up.
