WHO NEEDS Enemies?, the black-comic farce by local playwright Conor Montague proved to be one of the Galway theatre hits of the year, and now comes the sequel.
Who Needs Enemies II – Nightmare on Henry St sees the hapless Eoin Hancock, his long suffering girlfriend Cindy, and less than desirable friends Bottle, Raymo, and Gonz, return for another manic adventure.
Eoin has lost his mojo following a traumatic experience in Amsterdam and a wonder drug gets him ‘up and running’ so to speak, but things go horribly wrong when he finds that the drug just will not allow him to ‘get it down’! What will he do and what will happen?
Who Needs Enemies II is the first collaboration between the Bulmer’s Galway Comedy Festival and the Galway Theatre Festival and possibly the first play that has erectile dysfunction as its main theme.
Who Needs Enemies II will be at the Town Hall Theatre on Friday October 28 at 8pm. It is not suitable for children. The cast includes Mark Dooley (Eoin ), Ciara Brady (Cindy ), Ray Kelly (Raymo ), John Donnellan (Gonz ), and Conor Montague (Bottle ). The director is Dara Ó Foglú and the producer is Kevin Healy.
Tickets are €15/12.50 from www.roisindubh.net and the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie
