GET UP, Stand up, the weekly stand up comedy open mic night at Garvey’s Hotel and Bar, Eyre Square, takes place tonight from 10pm.
Every week there is a lively crowd and a load of up and coming comedians performing. All comedians are welcome. Each comedian is allowed seven to eight minutes for his/her set.
This week there will be a fundraising drive for the Aras Mac Dara Nursing Home. There will also be a comedy caption contest with the winner getting a prize. Admission is free and all are welcome.
