A city based order of nuns will celebrate 40 years in Galway at a special event at the Menlo Park Hotel on Friday at 8pm.
A booklet will be launched to mark the Little Sisters of the Assumption’s anniversary in Galway.
The social evening is being organised by the Pernet Lay Associates Networking Together Galway group.
It was formed in the wake of a number of educational courses, such as training for transformation and personal development.
It has now grown into the following groups: family, spirituality, justice, enterprise, youth, social evenings and fundraising for the Little Sisters of the Assumption Livelihood projects and missions in Brazil, Philippines and Galway.
