Maree qualify for u-18 cup quarter-finals

Maree Basketball returned to the courts at the weekend in the u-18 National Cup qualifiers which took place at various venues in Ireland.

Maree hosted the u-18 men’s section in Calasanctius College, winning their group with victories over Moycullen, Lisburn City BC, St Vincent’s and UCD/Marian to qualify for the quarter finals. They will play Killester at home in December.

Maree’s women’s team also qualified for the quarter-finals with wins over Ballincollig, Lisburn. DCU and hosts, Liffey Celtics.

The club enjoyed success at an u-12 boys’ tournament hosted by Limerick Celtics at the Limerick Youth Centre, Limerick. Maree had wins over Moycullen, Titans and Celtics2.
