The new autumn winter 2011 season at Brown Thomas Galway heralds the arrival of an exciting selection of hot new labels to the store. In womenswear, super cool London label Alice by Temperley fuses punchy prints with opulent fabrics to create collections that epitomise eclectic British style. Armani Jeans offers a range of styles and sizes, while the Barbour label oozes elegance and sophistication with heritage and lifestyle collections wholly inspired by Barbour’s military, equestrian, country, and biker past. The all American Juicy Couture is renowned for its covetable velour track pants and hooded top combos. Fans of the brand can now choose from a delectable selection of wear-anywhere pieces while Karl Donoghue focuses on luxury outerwear in the finest shearling, fur, and leather. Tailoring is important and a slim fit is achieved by Donoghues’s masterful understanding of how to play with his materials. Wool is sheared inside garments to give an elegant lightweight feel and matt leather has been styled very minimally with tucks and pleats providing the detail.
