Shop till you drop and raise funds for local charities

Shoppers can avail of major discounts at the Eyre Square Centre’s “Charity Night of Giving” on Wednesday November 19 at 6.30pm.

This pre-Christmas shopping event is in aid of 14 local charities comprising the Irish Wheelchair Association, Enable Ireland, Galway Simon Community, Irish Guide Dogs, Galway Hospice Foundation, Cope, Croi, Galway Dyslexia Association, Suicide Ireland, the Galway Branch of Cystic Fibrosis, Galway Rape Crisis Centre, Giving for Living Galway, Run Johnny Run (in aid of the Seachange Foundation ) and the John Paul Centre (Kiltulla Community House ).

People can support this fundraiser by buying a €10 ticket which gives them access to the centre on the night as well as free car parking off Merchants Road.

Up to 20 per cent discounts are available in some of the shops together with entertainment, fashion shows featuring former Miss World Rosanna Davison and the Catwalk Modelling Agency, refreshments, great prizes and giveaways.

Customers will get a chance to “Grab a Prize” at the centre’s Grab Machine. Prizes will include vouchers for Vero Moda, Flowers By Kay, Ryanman, Avanti, Freedom, Swamp and a wash and blow dry and file and polish from Redcats Hair and Beauty.

There will be a range of instore promotions including cheese and wine reception in the Paco Store, a free Demalogica face mapping event in Redcats Hair and Beauty, a live DJ and graffiti demonstration in Pariah Clothing, a cruise information night at Falcon Travel and ginger wine tasting at Julian Graves.
