In a one-sided encounter, Claregalway won the silverware, having controlled the game from the throw in. They led 1-12 to 0-0 at the break and increased their score to 1-19 at the end of full time. Naomh Anna had several wides, but Anna Ní Cheallaigh pointed for the Leitir Móir ladies’ only score.

In an evenly contested final in Monivea, Salthill opened with the aid of a strong breeze and led 0-6 to 0-3 at the break. However after the restart Michelle Burke and Shaunagh Jackson added two points in quick succession for Menlough to leave just a point between the teams. The game swung Menlough’s way when midway through the second half Michelle Burke struck a superb goa, and with two minutes Amara Molloy found the net again to seal the victory.

Maigh Cuilinn had an impressive win over Na Piarsaigh to win the Junior C Championship in An Spidéal on Saturday. Maigh Cuilinn put severe pressure on the Na Piarsaigh defence and were dominant throughout. Scores in the first half came from Cait Ní Chairtiur, Caroline Ní Chairtiur and Liane Ní Dhonnbháin for Maigh Cuilinn, while Áine Breathnach put Na Piarsaigh on the scoreboard. Maigh Cuilinn continued to add to their tally, and although Na Piarsaigh midfielder Aeidin Esslemont netted with a powerful shot, Maigh Cuilinn proved the stronger.

Beagh, in their first year in the competition, celebrated with a two-point win over An Cheathrú Rua. Although Beagh opened their scoring with a goal from Sinéad Kilkelly, the sides were level at the break, and it remained tight in the second half with Deirdre Conneely responding with a goal after Ní Chonchuabhair had found the back of the net from a penalty.
Beagh, however, grabbed their third goal from Sara Skehill and although An Cheathru Rua responded, they fell just short as Niamh Finn concluded the scoring for Beagh with a fine long-range point.
