A special World Cup rugby event in aid of Ability West takes place on Saturday in Monroe’s.
‘A Rugby Breakfast’ kicks off at 8.30am, prior to the live World Cup pool match between Ireland and Australia.
The event will feature a live panel of former and current rugby players giving their analysis of strategy and play before the game kicks off at 9.30am.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Ability West-Éirim an Iarthair - a voluntary organisation dedicated to enabling people with intellectual disabilities to realise their dreams and ambitions and to take their rightful place in society.
Ability West is based in 11 different locations throughout Galway city and county, supporting 500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
