The Galway City Council is proposing to close a number of roads to traffic to facilitate the Galway Bay Half-Marathon and 10K Race.
The roads to be closed are the Claddagh Quay, Grattan Road, Seapoint Promenade, Salthill Road (Upper ) and Upper Salthill to westbound traffic to facilitate these road races between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday October 1. Alternative routes will be in place.
