The Galway City Council will this week advertise for a new building contractor to complete the new clubhouse in Bohermore for Galway Hibernians FC.
According to Fine Gael councillor Pádraig Conneely, work on the clubhouse “came to a standstill several months ago” following “difficulties with the former contractor”.
Pre-qualification tenders have now been issued by City Hall and from there a short list of contractors will be asked to submit tenders for the work. The process should be completed by the end of the year.
