The week their premiership survival is determed, Galway United has received a timely boost with the announcement of Rival as the official kit supplier.
Rival, exclusive to Elverys Sports, will be providing new home and away kits and training wear for the first team through to the underage teams for a four-years period.An additional line of Galway United FC branded clothing and accessories will also be available.
Nick Leeson, CEO of Galway United FC, said the new sponsorship agreement was a significant boost to the club.
"We are delighted to be announcing this new partnership which will see all our squads wearing the new Rival kit from 2009. Elverys Sports are a proud west of Ireland company with a significant presence in the county and we look forward to working with them over the next four years."
Anne-Marie Hanly, marketing manager for Elverys Sports, said: "This is an important partnership which will further enhance the brand awareness of Rival. This announcement coincides with the launch of a competition whereby primary school children can design the jersey while winning fantastic prizes for themselves and their school.”
The new kit design for next season will be officially launched by the players and management in Elverys rts, Headford Road Retail Park, Galway, at 3pm on Monday December 8.
