For the second year running Galway’s Macnas will open the ABSOLUT Fringe in Dublin next week with an outdoor spectacular entitled On the Edge of Things is a Fierce Beauty.
On the Edge of Things is a Fierce Beauty will be performed on Saturday September 10 at the National Museum, Collins Barracks, Dublin, at 7.45pm.
The performance tells the story of a ‘Mistress of Invention’ and will feature a host of characters including misfits and navigators, poets, punks, and mystics. There will also be large scale images and live music.
The event is free but is ticketed and tickets can be collected at the ABSOLUT Fringe Box Office in Filmbase until September 10, subject to availability. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the museum until 5pm on Friday September 9. See www.fringefest.com
