TODAY IS September 1 and Galway is about to become a student city once again and Carbon nightclub on Eglinton Street has a host of great nights and events lined up.
Some old favourites from last semester, such as Beats & Bombs on Thursdays, will be back and indie fans can look forward to the indie night on Tuesdays with guests in rotation.
There will also be new nights with Octopussy on Mondays from 11pm. The night will feature bouncy castles, giant ball ponds, an 18 ft pool, the ‘Little White Wedding Chapel’ with Elvis, giant twister, Nintendo Wii and the Octopussy resident DJs. See www.octopussyuk.co.uk
Carbon will also have a new flagship student night on Wednesdays with The Library featuring iRadio’s Fergal D’Arcy. Entry is free before 12 midnight with a student ID.
