Two millionth Suzuki rolls off the line in Hungary

The two millionth Hungarian-made Suzuki recently rolled off the production line.

The ceremony did not just celebrate the two million vehicles landmark, it also commemorated another anniversary, namely that the company was founded 20 years ago.

The car, a Suzuki Swift, was driven off by Zsolt Gyulay, the vice-president of the Hungarian Olympic Committee and Olympic athletes.

Hisashi Takeuchi, CEO of Magyar Suzuki Corporation expressed his thanks and appreciation to all who have been taking part in the hard work, and in the success of producing two million Hungarian-made vehicles. “I feel privileged being the head of Magyar Suzuki when this unprecedented achievement is realised, something that we can all be really proud of,” he said.
