Free activities for all ages at Coole this month

Coole Park will host a variety of free events over the next month celebrating the cultural and natural heritage of the park.

This Sunday, July 31, will see a family walk taking place in Coole at 3pm. The walk, which will last about one hour, will give participants a chance to explore and discover the magic of Coole Park.

Lady Gregory - 80 Tumultuous Years, a walk and talk exploring the remarkable life and times of Lady Augusta Gregory, will take place at 3pm today (Thursday ), and again on Sunday August 7 and Thursday August 11, also at 3pm.

The Trees of Coole, a tree walk from Gregory times to the present day, will take place at 3pm on Sunday August 14.

Children’s nature activities will take place on Wednesdays throughout August from 2.30pm to 4pm. These events are suitable for children aged five to 10. Places are limited and booking is essential.
