Conscious Sounds’ reggae gig

GALWAY REGGAE fans can look forward to Conscious Sounds’ Dougie Wardrop, King General and Kenny Knots who play 21 Eglinton Street, formerly The Drum, this Saturday.

King General and Kenny Knots are both associated with Dougie Wardrop’s Conscious Sounds, the legendary East London recording studio and independent record label.

Conscious Sounds productions are known for their heavy digital sound owing to Dougie’s interest in the digital dancehall style of the 1980s and fans can also expect a high energy, bass heavy, reggae.

The night is presented by Rootical Sound System. Doors are at 10pm and admission is €10.
