Author and wildlife expert Gordon D’Arcy, best known for his contributions to Derek Mooney’s radio shows, will be in Clarinbridge this weekend.
Mr D’Arcy will lead the Clarinbridge family heritage walk, particularly ‘The Stradbally Loop’, near Moran’s of the Weir, this Sunday at 2pm.
Aspects of natural and social interest along the route will be covered. All ages are elcome, particularly children. Suitable footwear and weatherproof clothing is advised.
The walk will begin at Moran’s (assembly 1.45pm ) and finish there at 4pm approximately. The event is free. Further details are available from the Clarinbridge Arts Festival at 086 - 8351230.
