Skoda unveils new consumer initiative

Skoda has unveiled what it describes as a new consumer initiative for Irish motorists that is aimed at wiping out the unpredictability of delivery charges.

Raymond Leddy, marketing manager of Skoda Ireland explained: “Irish new car purchasers have always been subject to unpredictable delivery charges, in some cases of up to €1,000. These charges vary from brand to brand and even within brands prices can differ greatly from dealer to dealer. To make the process more transparent for the consumer, Skoda Ireland is initiating a new ‘on the road’ universal flat rate of €600 across the range which will be consistent across all Skoda retailers and effective from July 1.”

Leddy also revealed a new finance offering for consumers interested in purchasing pre-owned vehicles.

“To make our pre-owned vehicles even more attractive we are introducing 6.9 per cent APR finance especially for used Skodas. This is one of the most competitive rates on the market, available exclusively from Skoda authorised retailers nationwide.”
