EMMET SCANLAN & What The Good Thought make a return to their native city of Galway to play The Crane Bar on Sunday at 9pm.
The band have just wrapped up playing a string of gigs in London, including the inaugural St George’s Summer Ball and they are looking forward to Sunday’s show.
“It’s an amazing time in Galway,” says Emmet, “smack bang in the middle of the arts festival. We’re delighted that Mick is keen to have us.”
Their most recent release, charity single ‘A Man May Cry’, was inspired by the troubles of Haiti and proceeds from the single are going to The Haven Partnership, with whom Emmet has volunteered in the tsunami stricken island.
The single is available to download on iTunes. Admission to The Crane gig is free.
