CO KERRY accordionist Danny O’Mahony will launch his debut album In Retrospect at The Crane Bar, Sea Road, this Saturday at 7pm.
Danny is recognised for his unique and virtuosic style of solo playing and he has won several All-Ireland medals for solo traditional performance at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. He has also played and taught at numerous National and International music festivals, including Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, the Drangedal Folk Festival in Norway, and the Catskills Irish Festival in New York.
At The Crane, Danny will be joined by Patsy Broderick (piano ), Johnny ‘Ringo’ McDonagh (percussion ), and Cyril O’Donoghue (bouzouki/vocals ).
