Oranmore’s Olive Clarke (above ) added another win to her growing list of achievements this year when she won the Leading Rider Prize at the Allianz Champions of the Year Show at Kill International Equestrian Centre.
The five-day event show attracted a record 2,000 entries this year, and pride of place was taken by Clarke who claimed the top prize.
She started in fine form, winning Friday's Gain Horse Feeds Indoor Derby, riding D&R Clarke's The Butlers Pantry Paradise. She also won the Allianz 1.20m final, riding D Scally's Cobbydor, and was placed third in the same class on J Melia's Special Effects. She finished fourth in both the Allianz 1.30m final riding Cobbydor and in the Allianz 1.30m speed class on Special Effects.
