Kenny’s is having a major sale at its bookshop on the Tuam Road with all second-hand books at half price and new books reduced by 25 per cent.
This sale, which runs until June 25, affects more than 100,000 books, some of which start at €1. There is free coffee and comfy couches for those who go to browse and buy.
Kenny’s long association with Gaeilge continues, and the shop has recently acquired thousands of new Irish language books. Kenny’s now has the largest selection of leabhar Gaeilge in the country. New libraries of sailing, homeopathy, and biographies are also available, as well as books from Agatha Christie paperbacks to James Joyce first edition.
