THE DREAMING House, Thomas Kilroy’s play based on the life of George Moore, has only been performed once - more than 20 years ago.
That performance was in the 1990s at the George Moore Festival in Carnacon, Co Mayo, but the play is to receive a second outing here in Galway.
Mephisto Theatre Company and the Moore Institute at NUI, Galway will stage a rehearsed reading of Kilroy’s The Dreaming House, this Saturday at 7.30pm in the Bank of Ireland Theatre, NUIG.
The cast features Seamus O’Donnell (George Moore ) and John O’Dowd (Moore’s valet William ). It is directed by Tara McKevitt. Admission is free and all are welcome.
