Network Galway has announced that The Positive Economist” Susan Hayes will address an event in Galway on June 2, when her theme for the evening will be “Get Friendly With Your Finances”.
Ms Hayes will invite all participants to look at the monetary status, and hence the entire purpose, of their business in a different way — with curiosity, innovation and ingenuity! The aim of the evening is to offer attendees “Ten Actions You Can Implement Immediately to Take Control of Your Finances”.
Susan Hayes is Managing Director of Hayes Culleton, a financial training and educational consultancy company specialising in eLearning. Susan is “Finance Trainer” at Irish Times Training, as well as a corporate affiliate of Finance Malta. She gives many guest presentations on a varied range of subjects from specific regulation, to developments in the financial markets, to her own investing experience.
She regularly contributes to the national and international media including The Sunday Times (Malta ), RTE, Newstalk and Today FM (Ireland ), as “The Positive Economist” on matters relating to economics, the stock market, banking, entrepreneurship and finance. In 2008, Susan wrote a digitised module called “Introducing Wall Street to the Classroom” designed to make the stock market approachable and accessible for second level students and their teachers. Susan has personally mentored hundreds of people in financial markets on an individual basis, as well as in a group format.

Refreshments will be served throughout the event, which is open to members and non–members alike. The event is free for members, and a €10 charge will apply for non members.
