Fresh from winning their 19th championship, Manchester United now take on Barcelona this Saturday in the UEFA Champions League final, and Kelly’s Bar is throwing a big party for all Man Utd fans. Leading the chants will be Hector Ó hEochagáin, who will also have a pre-match DJ set, so expect the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, et al from the glory days of the ‘Madchester’ era.
“The final on Saturday is the culmination of a great season for United,” said Hector. “If you can’t get to Wembley then come to Kelly’s Bar which will be the next best thing. It will be nice to be in a room on our own, with our own. We [United fans] are an endangered species you know with all those ABUs out there.”
The party takes place upstairs in Kelly’s and doors will open at 5pm.
