JOHN BEAG agus Na hAncairí are well known throughout Connemara as a highly popular country and Irish band, but it is very rare they play Galway city.
That changes tomorrow when they play the Town Hall Theatre at 8.30pm. Band leader John Beag Ó Flatharta ‘an tAncaire’ has played across Connemara for more than 20 years, creating a niche for himself through his country songs as Gaeilge.
For this concert John will be joined by Helen Uí Dhunáird, Colm Gannon, Mike Chang, Ray Diamond, Colm Naughton, Cormac Dunne, and Fergal Gallagher.
