ST NICHOLAS’ Collegiate Church will be the venue for a series of traditional music concerts which start on Monday and run to early September.
Tunes In The Church will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8pm to 9.30pm and will host a different combination of traditional musicians, singers, and dancers from Galway and beyond.
The upcoming three concerts are Monday - Cormac Cannon (pipes ), Breda Keville (fiddle/vocals ), Lorraine O’Brien (concertina ), and Máire Ní Chuaig (sean nós dancer ); and Wednesday June 1 - Padraig Keane (uileann pipes ), Siobhán Keane (fiddle ), Massie Kate Keane (fiddle ), and Griogair Labhruidh (singer ). There will be no concert on Friday June 3.
