ANNA FALKENAU is from Germany and lives in Galway and across Ireland she has won acclaim for her Irish traditional fiddle playing.
She is one half of the duo Murray & Falkenau, with singer/guitarist Ivan Murray, and tomorrow at 9.30pm in The Crane Bar, they will launch their new album entitled The Leipzig Sessions.
Celtic Beats magazine recently praised the duo, commenting on “Ivan Murray’s haunting vocals and Anna Falkenau’s wonderful fiddle playing – brave, bold and a delight to listen to, shining on a deeply personal level”.
