FROM MAJESTIC, melodic, pop/rock to outrageous, fret burning, post-rock workouts, the FMC Tour, featuring Adebisi Shank and O Emperor, has it and the tour is coming to Galway.
The FMC Tour takes place in the Róisín Dubh on Saturday June 4 at 8pm. Wexford’s Adebisi Shank play some of the fastest, heaviest, and jaw droopingly thrilling post-rock you can possibly hear.
O Emperor’s rustic sound, keen sense of melody, and lush harmonies are heard to wonderful and impressive effect on their acclaimed debut Hither Thither. O Emperor are also sophisticated songwriters of great potential. Hither Thither is full of intelligent, beguiling, melodies; impeccable vocal harmonies; and skilled musicianship - qualities they also display on-stage as previous Róisín Dubh shows and a slot at Electric Picnic 2010 have attested.
Also on the bill is the Dublin duo of Heathers - Ellie and Louise Macnamara - whose song ‘Remember When’ features in adverts by Fáilte Ireland.
First Music Contact works with artists at all levels both at home and on the international stage through various projects.
Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh, www.roisindubh.net, and www.tickets.ie
