Peugeot in Ireland has presented Síle Seoige with the keys to a new Peugeot RCZ sports coupe.
Sleek and stylish, the stunning new RCZ, Continental Irish Performance Car of the Year 2011, is a perfect partner to the new Peugeot brand ambassador.
A delighted Seoige told the Advertiser: “I’m thrilled with my new Peugeot RCZ. I had watched a recent TV3 Xccelerate review and loved the car at first sight. I was really looking forward to getting the keys and, when I did, I immediately set off for a weekend to Galway to get familiar with the car – it didn’t disappoint.
“The car is gorgeous and attracts admiring glances everywhere I go. The interior is just so luxurious and, of course, the double bubble roof and gorgeous rear really give that extra special wow factor. The 2.0 HDi 163bhp diesel engine is a dream, giving a smooth and precise driving experience.”
Seoige’s persona in Ireland is growing rapidly. Widely recognised around the country from her many appearances on RTE and TG4, her girl-next-door attitude has won her fans across Ireland. In October 2010 Seoige took on the challenge of her life by reaching the top of the highest freestanding mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, in order to raise funds and create awareness for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
To date more than €250,000 has been raised by Síle Seoige and her fellow climbers and a TV documentary will screen on RTÉ this summer.

Retailing from €37,395, plus dealer delivery related charges, Peugeot’s RCZ is host to an array of standard comfort and safety equipment including leather upholstery, leather steering wheel, 18” alloy wheels, an active rear spoiler, twin sports exhaust, auto headlights and wipers, dual zone air conditioning, Bluetooth, ESP, electronic brake force distribution, ABS, cruise control and speed limiter and front and rear parking aid. The 2.0 HDi 163bhp sports coupe qualifies for €156 annual road tax.
