SINGER-SONGWRITER Eleanor McEvoy may be known to most for 1992’s ‘A Woman’s Heart’ but there is more to her than that.
McEvoy is a multi talented Irish musician and songwriter, with eight albums and 20 years experience behind her. Over that time her music has continued to evolve and develop, constantly absorbing new styles and influences.
On the night she will play songs from across that career as well as tracks from her most recent album, the critically acclaimed I’d Rather Go Blonde.
The Irish Times praised its “ambitious surging crescendos” while Maverick called it an “absolutely stunning album” by “one of the most compelling female singer-songwriters I’ve heard in a long time”.
Eleanor McEvoy plays The Forge, Moycullen on Saturday May 14 at 8.30pm. Tickets cost €15 from The Forge on 091 - 868944.
