A world of dance comes to Galway

DANCE STYLES from Argentina, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, the Dominican Republic, and Ireland will be performed at the second International Dance Festival Galway next month.

The festival takes place in the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday May 14 at 7.30pm. It has been organised by NUIG staff and the Sisters of La Retraite and will raise funds for Special Olympics Ireland Connacht.

The Galway based, Argentinean/French duo, Caminos De Tango will perform tango; the Regina Rogers school of ballet will perform the can can and dances from the ballet The Nutcracker; there will be traditional Mexican dance from Alejandro Morales; Irish dance from Reel Troupe; and salsa by Yaneth.
