BEAUTIFUL MAN, a group exhibition inspired by the poetry of Kathy Enders, opens in The Kenny Gallery, Liosbán Retail Park, Tuam Road, this Saturday at 2pm.
The artists taking part are Caroline Patten, Jahee Yu, Katherine van Uytrech, Marta Wakula-Mac, Niamh Flanagan, Nickie Hayden, and Siobhan Hyde. The guest speaker will be poet Geraldine Mills and there will be readings by Kathy Enders.
Kathy Enders is a young Irish poet from Dublin. The artists read her work and took an emotion or line from a poem they felt reflected their own lives, and through them created paintings and prints.
An illustrated publication of Kathy’s poetry and artists prints will accompany the exhibition.
All are welcome to the launch. The exhibition continues daily (9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays ) until May 20.
