This Friday Sweetie Pies on Middle Street will get into full swing with the launch of its evening weekend menu.
The new menu introduces sliders - the mini burger sensation and the latest food craze to hit the US. Sliders are served in pairs and you get to mix and match from a variety of six. Examples are Diablo – jalapenos, cheese, and chilli mayo on beef, Swiss – caramelised onions, Swiss cheese, and bacon, or Veggi - homemade goodness served with avocado and mixed leaves. Served with a sautéed potatoes and coleslaw, these tasty cuties are on the menu all weekend.
Other customer favourites on the menu include the Caesar salad, homemade soups, freshly made pizzas, bruschetta dishes, and of course all those sweetie pies – which must be the biggest dessert choice in Galway. Sweetie Pies’ extended hours will be on Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm. Jazz guitarist and vocalist Damien Gilligan will be resident on Fridays. A great value early bird menu will be served from 5pm to 7pm, which includes any starter, any main, any side, and any dessert for just €24.
