The Bish table-tennis teams have set a new standard in the sport after capturing all three Connacht titles at the recent Connacht Schools Team Championships. The u-13, u-15 and u-18 teams swept to victory in their respective competitions in the Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar - the first time in the history of the competition that one school has won all three age groups. The u-13 team defeated schools from Roscommon, Athlone and Mayo on their path to victory, while the u-15s, led by captain Owen Walshe, dominated the competition, comprehensively defeating schools from Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. The u-18s, led by captain Jordan Lee, defeated teams from Roscommon and Galway before seeing off St Aloysius, Athlone by 6-3. Coached by Terry Dolan, the teams will now represent Connacht in the All Ireland finals on Wednesday April 13.
