Enjoy a ‘royal’ reception at Hotel Meyrick for charity

Heads turned last week in Galway city centre as the future Queen of England, “Kate Middleton” stepped out at the Hotel Meyrick on Eyre Square. As much as it is wished Kate would visit Galway, it was actually a promotional shoot with the hotel’s very own “Galway Kate” in support of Enable Ireland Galway and the ISPCC.

However, Hotel Meyrick is extending invitations to guests to view the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William in the Connemara suite on Friday April 29 from 10am to 2pm.

Although Kate and William will wed at Buckingham Palace, guests of Hotel Meyrick can still enjoy a reception where live footage of the noble nuptials will be screened in its majestic ballroom.

Afternoon tea with a distinct English flavour will be served during the reception where guests can enjoy a catch up with friends along with a selection of teas, coffees, light bites and sweet treats. Tickets are priced at €10 and are available from Carmen of ISPCC on 085 178 4686 or Joanne of Enable Ireland on 087 665 8664. All proceeds will be divided between the two charities.

Hotel Meyrick has long been among the number one preferences for wedding venues in the west of Ireland. For further information visit www.hotelmeyrick.ie
