THE BEST of Irish craft and design will be exhibited in An Ceardlann in An Spidéal, for Féile na Ceardlainne, a free festival of art, craft, music, and dance.
Féile na Ceardlainne runs from Tuesday April 26 to Monday May 1 from 10am to 6pm. During that time An Ceardlann’s nine studios will hold free open day workshops for people to try their hand at porcelain making, pottery, painting, figure drawing, weaving, stained glass or jewellery design, kite making, and badge and friendship bracelet making.
There will also be Irish classes with Ros na Rún’s Ciabhán Ó Murchú, tai chi classes, and a walking trail of An Spidéal. There will also be an evening at the open-air concert featuring local musicians, sean-nós dancers, Latin dancing, and music from Kurdistan.
