THE DANCES of Asia, South America, and Europe will be performed at the second International Dance Festival Galway next month.
The festival, which was launched this week at NUI, Galway, will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday May 14 at 7.30pm. It has been organised by NUIG staff and the Sisters of La Retraite and it will raise funds for Special Olympics Ireland Connacht.
The Galway based, Argentinean/French duo, Caminos De Tango will perform tango; the Regina Rogers school of ballet will perform the can can and dances from the ballet The Nutcracker; there will be traditional Mexican dance from Vladimir Catalán; Irish dance from Reel Masters; and Salsa by Yaneth.
